✒    Respect other players and mods. We're all here for the same reasons, to roleplay and have fun doing it. Creating drama for the sake of drama is unacceptable. If you are having problems with another player, document it and talk to the mods.

✒    No Godmoding, Metagaming or Fourth-walling. These should be pretty self-explanatory. Don't take control of another player's character. Don't use OOC information to affect IC gameplay unless your character has reason to know. Don't break the fourth-wall and bring attention to the fact that the characters are all fictional.

✒    Keep your characters IC! Every two months there will be an optional HMD posted where players can critique each other. If there are continual issues with a player, please contact a mod.

✒    You must be at least 16 years old to apply at Striatum. Gameplay will likely involve subject matter that is considered inappropriate for younger players. Players under 18 are not allowed to play out sexual situations.

✒    Anything that contains triggering subject matter must contain a warning and be locked to the community.

✒          Keep your characters active! Activity checks will happen at the end of each month. To meet Activity requirements, you must participate in one log that lasts at least 12 comments or multiple logs that add up to 12. If you are not going to meet activity but would like to stay in the game, please let us know by declaring hiatus. Not meeting activity will result in being removed from the game.

✒    Players are allowed to have 4 characters in play at a time. However, if you meet two activity checks with 4 characters, you may then apply for a 5th. If you meet 3 activity checks with 5 characters, then you may apply for a 6th.

✒    You may not app more than two characters from a single canon and those characters must not have a significant relationship.

✒    Characters from all canons are allowed to apply with the exception of characters from Dollhouse. Most non-humans don't need to be modified upon entry but characters like one of the Transformers would need to be humanized. If you're unsure, ask!

✒           Two versions of any character are allowed. One canon version, one AU version. Characters that are transplanted from another game count as the AU character. Original characters are also accepted.

✒          Characters under the age of 14 cannot be applied for. They must be aged up to at least 14 before we will accept them.

✒    While not outlawed, playercest is frowned upon. Logs that are playercest will not count towards activity.

✒ Characters with extreme superpowers must have their powers limited. A good rule of thumb is if this character could change the game's landscape single handed, their powers need to be toned down. Through gameplay, however, there may be events in the future where they can partially gain powers back.

✒    Respect the metaplot, NPC's and game secrets. Sometimes it may move fast, sometimes it may move slow, either way, there's a method to our madness here.

✒ Striatum has a 3 strikes policy. If you break the rules 3 times, you will be banned from the game for one year. After that time, if you'd like to join the game again, you may make an appeal.

✒    Mods cannot possibly monitor anoncomm, plurk and anticirclejerk all the time. As such, complaints aired through those methods will not be acted upon until they are brought to us directly.

✒    When in doubt, ask a mod. We are here to help! It doesn't matter how small your problem is, talk to us! We can't solve a problem we don't know about.
